Today’s C3 is a team of more than 25 software developers, testers, consultants, project managers, implementation specialists, trainers, and customer support staff. We’ve also developed strong sales partnerships with Symbol and Schneider Logistics as well as technical partnerships with prestige partners such as Microsoft and IBM. Many software companies begin life as a technology in search of a business issue. C3 is just the opposite. In 1997, the company’s two founders, Nicholas Couture and Greg Braun created the earliest versions of Yard Smart to meet real-world demand from a major trucking and logistics company for a Yard Management system that was nimbler than mainframe applications yet more scalable than the workstation systems on the market.
