C&S Wholesale Grocers begins rapid company-wide deployment of Yard Smart

C3 Solutions and wholesale grocery giant C&S Wholesale Grocers have reached an agreement for an accelerated deployment of C3’s Yard Smart yard-management solution throughout most of the C&S network. C&S is looking to reduce its operational costs, accelerate logistics flow, and improve product visibility at its distribution centers in the wake of the company’s stunning growth over the last several years. Headquartered in Keene, NH, C&S Wholesale Grocers is the second-largest grocery wholesaler in the U.S. with sales projected to surpass $18 billion in 2006 and a staff of 20,000 associates.
