At the cutting edge of intelligence

The next step in the evolution of Yard Smart is the integration of our new agent-based technology. Agents were first used in our appointment-scheduling module. The agents provided much-needed flexibility in the usage of resources and helped to keep appointment schedules optimized. Now we’ve integrated agent-based technology into almost all our modules. The agents each have a set of individual directives and an overall ranking based on importance. Once the agents are set up, they negotiate with one another constantly to allocate resources and ensure your yard and docks are running at peak efficiency according to the priorities you’ve set out. Agent-based technology cuts down on the consulting time needed to establish business rules and provides ongoing flexibility that rules-based systems cannot.
