| C3 Solution’s European Customers Create User Group |

Il n'y a pas de traductions disponibles Representatives of all of C3 Solution’s European customers gathered in Nottingham UK, the 25th and 26th of February for the inaugural meeting of the C3 European User Group. The purpose of this independent group is to provide a forum for C3’s European customers to exchange ideas on yard management best practices and to provide product feedback to C3. During the two days of meetings, C3 representatives provided presentations on Yard Smart version 4.0, (the latest version of C3’s yard management system) on C3 Reservations 10.03 (the latest version of C3’s appointment scheduling system) and presentations on the respective product roadmaps. Other sessions included discussions on various technical aspects of C3’s products and topics such as business continuity. The consensus of the user group was to hold regular meetings at each customer’s site to further explore the operational gains derived from C3’s products. “We’re very excited that our European customers have taken this initiative to create a forum to exchange ideas and to consolidate their collective requirements,” says Nicholas Couture President of C3 Solutions. “We always regard direct feedback from our customers as extremely important and when that feedback comes from a focused group like this, it is even more pertinent”. With this latest version C3 Solutions reinforces its commitment to deliver enterprise software as a service (SaaS). C3 Reservations is an appointment scheduling system that allows customers to streamline the flow of goods into their facilities by dramatically reducing phone calls and emails from carriers and suppliers. Il n'y a pas de traductions disponibles Aloe Vera of America, a division of Forever Living Products, the world's largest grower, manufacturer and distributor of Aloe Vera-based products, has successfully implemented C3’s Reservation Management System (C3-RMS) at its Dallas manufacturing/distribution center. Aloe Vera’s Dallas facility wanted to streamline its inbound receiving processes. Ever expanding volume meant that the current processes needed to be improved. In addition, Aloe Vera required a system that was easy to deploy and did not required any IT resources to get up and running. C3’s appointment scheduling system, C3 Reservations, fit the bill. The rich browser based graphical user interface made the training for the Aloe Vera users straight forward and quick while the tutorial style dialogues made the carrier acceptance of the system almost immediate. “Our challenge was to find a cost effective solution that would give us the business improvements we needed without having to rely on our IT department. C3 Reservations has increased the productivity of our receiving department and has provided us with a tool that will allow us to manage our expected growth” explains Calvin Shuler, Vice President of Operations at Aloe Vera of America. “C3 has become a trusted solution provider for Aloe Vera.”

| Yard Smart Implemented at Boots UK Central Beeston Site |

Il n'y a pas de traductions disponibles Boots UK Limited, a member of the international pharmacy-led health and beauty group Alliance Boots, which operates more than 3,200 health and beauty retail outlets, is one of C3’s latest clients that is using Yard Smart. Boots’ central distribution site in Beeston has successfully implemented C3 Solutions’ Yard Smart as an essential step of a comprehensive plan to refine all supply chain operations to achieve maximum efficiency and ultimately offer improved customer service. The implementation of Yard Smart at the 200+ acre Boots site demanded extensive functionality to manage live-unload trailers, automate unload planning and track all movements and optimally assign tasks for 12 shunters in the yard. All of this was accomplished while maintaining a user-friendly interface. In addition to the Yard Smart implementation at the primary site, Boots is also using C3’s WebGate. The new browser based application complements Yard Smart by extending visibility to smaller satellite sites. Inbound and outbound transactions at each site are tracked and trailers are displayed as an expected arrival at the destination site. |
